West Allis Man Robbed at Potawatomi, Arrested by Bayside Police

He even had a torn $100 to prove it.

A 29-year-old West Allis man was arrested by after they discovered he had an outstanding warrant with the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department. Little did the officer know the offender was just recently a victim.

An officer did a random license plate check at 12:43 a.m. Dec. 27 of a vehicle that was driving in front of him. It turned out the registered owner's license was expired.

The man admitted his driving privileges had been revoked and he shouldn't be driving. He also said he was robbed at the front door of Potawatomi in Milwaukee about an hour earlier. He said he didn’t report it though, because he didn’t know who to report it to. He even showed officers a half of a $100 bill that was torn during the robbery.

Officers confirmed his license was revoked from an OWI conviction and that he also had an open warrant through Sheboygan County. He was arrested for operating after revocation. Officers went to the vehicle to secure the belongings before it would be towed and found two small glass jars containing a green leafy substance resembling marijuana in the center console. However, they both tested negative for the drug.

At 3 a.m., a Sheboygan County Sheriff picked up the man. Prior to leaving, he was cited by Bayside police for operating after revocation, failure to install an ignition lock and for an unregistered vehicle.
