Construction Worker Severely Injured At Lambeau Field: Authorities

GREEN BAY, WI — A construction worker was severely injured Thursday at Lambeau Field, according to authorities.

Fire and police personnel responded aorund 10 a.m. to the home of the Packers after receiving a report of a trapped worker, the Green Bay Metro Fire Department said in a news release. Crews extricated the victim, who was taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to the department.

The Packers declined comment to WBAY, which reported the Occupational Health and Safety Administration is investigating the incident. Miron Construction Co. Inc. told WBAY the worker was a subcontractor’s employee and the company is cooperating with authorities.
