GREEN BAY, Wis. (11/08/2021) — The Greater Green Bay Chamber will present its much-anticipated Economic Development Strategic Plan Update this week at a community-wide event to be held at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center.
Adopted in May 2017, the Strategic Plan was built around an ambitious set of 11 initiatives designed to support the creation of new jobs and investment in Greater Green Bay. Since the plan’s creation, seven task forces made up of business and community leaders have met regularly to guide and execute the plan’s implementation in the areas of:
Speakers at the update event will include President and CEO of Schneider Mark Rourke; President of America's Service Line Scott Willert; President of Paper Transport Inc. Jeff Shefchik; Mayor of Green Bay Eric Genrich; President and CEO of Brown County United Way Robyn Davis; Executive Director of NEW Manufacturing Alliance Ann Franz; President of Körber Tissue Pete Augustine, and more.
The update event will begin with networking and a continental breakfast at 7 a.m., followed by a formal program at 7:30 a.m. Anyone in the community interested in learning about the growth of Greater Green Bay is encouraged to register online. Walk-ins will be accepted.
