GREEN BAY, Wis. (11/01/2021) — Six companies who make up The Blueprint Green Bay startup accelerator’s first-ever cohort are prepared to pitch their companies to a panel of judges as the Urban Hub and Greater Green Bay Chamber host Pitch Night this week.

Pitch Night is the culmination of the Greater Green Bay Chamber's 12-week startup accelerator program. The night serves as an opportunity for company founders to secure grant funding through a three-minute pitch in front of an audience of potential investors, entrepreneurs, community members, and mentors.

The cohort of companies is comprised entirely of minority, women and veteran-owned businesses, including:

  • Nicole Tilot - AppEase
  • Elizabeth Paulson & Eliza Cussen - Divorcist
  • Takieta Pritchard - Intrigued Braiding
  • Tyrone Powell - Unext
  • Avery Rhenwrick - 4thN Long
  • Kaleb Robertson - Kaleb Robertson Comedy Club
  • The Blueprint Green Bay is a first-of-its-kind startup accelerator program in Greater Green Bay—  powered by the Greater Green Bay Chamber and New North— that provides an additional point of access for individuals into the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Since August, members of the program’s first-ever idea validation cohort have met at least four days per week working through the ideation phase of their business.

The program’s second 12-week cohort— market validation —which will begin accepting applications on Jan. 3, 2022, and begin in March 2022, will provide companies tools to identify market opportunities including defining target market, connecting to a manufacturer (if applicable), learning how to take a product or service to market and how to build a customer base.
