Miron Construction sues Green Bay over bid for construction project at Leicht Memorial Park (wbay.com) — A major construction contract for Green Bay’s Leicht Memorial Park is now tied up in court, as Miron Construction sues to stop the city from awarding the pavilion project to rival firm 8Pine. The company claims 8Pine’s bid was incomplete and that moving forward could violate state public-bidding laws, and it’s asking a judge to block a planned Common Council vote on Tuesday.
   

3. Five people displaced after a structure fire in Green Bay (wbay.com) — Five residents were displaced after a midday structure fire on the 800 block of Nicolet Avenue in Green Bay, though no one was hurt. Green Bay Metro Fire crews traced the blaze to careless smoking materials near an exterior light, quickly doused hot spots, and called in fire marshals to investigate. Damage is estimated at $10,000, and the Red Cross is helping those displaced.
   

4. Packers players surprise hospital patients and staff with holiday visit (wearegreenbay.com) — Patients, families, and staff at Emplify Health by Bellin Green Bay Hospital got a festive surprise when Packers defensive ends Kingsley Enagbare and Barryn Sorrell stopped by with hot chocolate and holiday treats. The hour-long visit offered photos, conversation, and a morale boost meant to recognize health care workers and brighten hospital stays during the holiday season.
   

5. Jordan Love's foundation asks more Wisconsin sports teams to apply for free cleats program (fox11online.com) — Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is turning his touchdown tally into free Nike cleats for Wisconsin youth sports teams, and his foundation wants more applicants before the Dec. 31 deadline. Any K–12 team in the state can apply, with recipients announced in January. Love’s Hands of 10ve initiative has already tied more than 20 touchdowns this season to new gear for kids in need.
