Catalytic Converter Stolen, Possible Gift Card Fraud: GPD Logs
Also: A car was stolen from Applewood Apartments Thursday.

GREENDALE, WI β Two people were carjacked at Southridge Mall on Tuesday and Wednesday, a car was stolen from apartments on Ramsey Avenue Thursday, and a catalytic converter was stolen on Sunday, according to call logs from the Greendale Police Department.

Two carjackings happened at Southridge Mall in Greendale this week. Police said in a news release Thursday the armed carjackings happened on Tuesday and Wednesday. Call logs show a woman had her car stolen at gunpoint in the mall's parking lot Tuesday.
Call logs show that on Tuesday security at the mall sent police video footage of the carjacking suspects near a vehicle that was reported stolen. Following the carjacking, the vehicle was left in the lot.

On Wednesday, the vehicle that was initially stolen returned, and according to the news release, another person had their car stolen. The victim was held at gunpoint and knifepoint, police call logs show.

Catalytic Convertor Stolen
Police call logs show a catalytic converter was stolen from a car sometime between Dec. 5 and 6 in the parking lot of Ridgedale Apartments on 770 West Grange Avenue. An investigation is pending.
Car Stolen From Applewood Apartments
A black Kia Forte was reported stolen from the parking lot of an apartment structure on 4500 Ramsey Avenue Wednesday night, call logs show. Glass was found in the area where the vehicle was last parked.
After the car was reported stolen, Milwaukee Police Department located and pulled over the vehicle. The occupants were arrested and the car was recovered and brought to the municipal lot, according to call logs.
Alleged Employee Gift Card Fraud
The Greendale Police Department received a call on Dec. 3 from a manager at a business on 5200 South 76th Street. Call logs show the manager told police an employee was possibly selling discounted gift cards to customers and employees.
The manager told police the estimated gift card theft total was around $23,000. Call logs said a police investigation is pending.
