GREENDALE, WI β€” Greendale Police Department responded to a home on Oriole Lane on July 15 following a resident's report of a camera crew taking pictures of a child, but it was anything but that, Sergeant Christopher Karczewski told Patch.

Police say the photographers, there were three of them, were actually a documentary film crew. The crew was taking pictures of a member's childhood home, which happened to be in Greendale, Karczewski said.

The responding officer conducted a top-to-bottom investigation into the incident and concluded the crew was telling the truth, and that the resident's concerns were not true, according to Karczewski.
