Explorium Brew Pub To Debut Milwaukee County Stouts: Black Friday

Several versions of the Explorium Brew Pub's "Milwaukee County Stout" were created and their debut is slated for Black Friday.

GREENDALE, WI β€” For many, Black Friday means shopping. For others, such as the Explorium Brew Pub in Greendale, it means beer.

The brewery's Milwaukee County Stout is back and Explorium plans on debuting versions of it on Black Friday. For Explorium's Greendale location there are two variants set to be available on Black Friday: A Wheated Whiskey-barrel-aged stout and a Knob Creek Bourbon-barrel-aged stout.

OnMilwaukee.com reported on the upcoming stout release first. Explorium Brew Pub's owner told the outlet each version of the beer is "distinctly different" depending on how fresh the whiskey barrel was when it was filled with the Milwaukee County Stout.

The six other brands that partnered with Explorium for the Milwaukee County Stout used their own barrels to age the brew. Of those six, five will be publicly releasing their own version of the Milwaukee County Stout, Explorium posted on Facebook.

A video the pub posted on Instagram announced the upcoming debut of the beer and showed versions of it being canned. The gold and royal blue versions will be available at Explorium's Greendale and Third Ward locations.

Explorium Brew Pub Greendale is located at Southridge Mall in Greendale, 5300 South 76th Street Suite #1450a.

The 6 a.m. release will take place at the Greendale location and an 8 a.m. release will take place at the Third Ward location, the pub posted on Facebook.
