First Watch Daytime Cafe Planned For 76th Street In Greendale
The former site of Ruby Tuesdays in Greendale is getting remodeled into a First Watch Daytime Cafe, the franchise owner told Patch.

GREENDALE, WI β A First Watch Daytime Cafe location is on its way to Greendale at 5320 76th Street, franchise owner Vinnie Busalacchi told Patch.
Demolition on the interior of the building began last week. The site was chosen in part for its location and because it's freestanding, Busalacchi said. The Village of Greendale Board of Trustees was scheduled to review a special use and building permit application for the site on Tuesday.
The breakfast and brunch chain, which would replace the former Greendale Ruby Tuesdays, has three other locations in southeastern Wisconsin, plus another in the works for Pewaukee, Busalacchi said.

Busalacchi said he opened the Brookfield location 12 years ago, and the Mequon and Oak Creek locations came after.
Menu items from the breakfast chain range from more traditional fare such as waffles, pancakes, bacon, toast and eggs, to somewhat more unique items like smoked salmon benedict or a carnitas breakfast burrito.

The Greendale location could be open as soon as this summer, Busalacchi said.
On its website, First Watch says it has a rotating, seasonal menu that follows the sun, offering in-season vegetables and fruits as they become available throughout the year. The menu also offers a list of sandwiches, quinoa "power" bowls and salads.
The applications from First Watch to the village are set to be considered by the Plan Commission and Planning consultant, the Village said in a newsletter.
