Greendale High School Athletic Hall Of Fame Getting 3 New Members
A ceremony to induct Greendale High School's newest athletic hall of fame class is set for September, the district said.

GREENDALE, WI β Greendale High School has three new members on its Athletic Hall of Fame, including graduates from 1993 through 2007, district officials said Tuesday.
The three Greendale graduates are part of the Hall of Fame's class of 2022, which was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a news release from Greendale Schools. The three alumni will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sept. 8, an award that honors the achievements of athletes, coaches and athletic friends of Greendale High School who have contributed to "integrity, promotion and growth of athletics at the school."
"Members of the Hall of Fame will have performed at both an exceptionally high athletic level and represented Greendale with high standards of citizenship and character," said a news release from the school. "This award will also recognize and honor people who have been instrumental in creating an excellent athletic tradition in the ideals of 'Panther Pride.'"

The new members include Callie Givens, Class of 2007, Sarah (Dorrington) Holland, Class of 2001, and Meghan (McGlocklin) Lodes, Class of 1993, according to the news release. The September event for the three alumni takes place in the 6801 Southway high school's multipurpose room with a reception at 5 p.m. and a ceremony from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. Afterward, all inductees will be invited to the 7 p.m. varsity football game for recognition after the first quarter.
During the ceremony, the Greendale Village Club, Inc. will also be inducted as a "Friend of Greendale High School Athletics," the news release said.

We look forward to acknowledging these accomplishments with the Athletic Hall of Fame distinction next month.β
Future hall of fame inductions are set to happen on a biennial basis moving ahead, the news release said, while nomination forms, complete eligibility requirements and information on the selection process, are available online.
