Greendale Water Utility Rates Could Increase: Public Comment Date
The average customer for the Greendale Water Utility would experience about an 11 percent increase in how much they pay.

GREENDALE, WI β Greendale Water Utilities could increase the cost of water in the village by about 11 percent due to an increase in operating costs.
The Greendale Water Utility filed an application with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin to increase the rates. An increase in costs would be necessary because of a 2.54 percent increase in gross plant investment and an 11.22 percent increase in operating expenses since 2019, Greendale Water Utility said in a public notice.
The total revenue increase would bring in an additional $243,341 to keep Greendale Water Utility running. That revenue increase would translate to water customers in an 11 percent increase in costs per quarter, according to a public notice from the Village.
