Help Beautify City Hall At This Year's Flower Planting Event

GREENFIELD, WI β€” The Greenfield Beautification Committee is accepting volunteers to help with its annual City Hall flower planting event on Saturday, according to the committee's website.

The planting event leads to a smattering of colorful flowers planted around City Hall each year, the committee said. The committee will be handling the planting drive, but volunteers are welcome to come and help on Saturday.

Volunteers need only to show up on Saturday with gloves and a trowel, the website states. There is no need to register. Prospective planters should arrive at City Hall at 9 a.m. Saturday located at 7325 W Forest Home Avenue in Greenfield.

The committee is also hosting other gardening events in Greenfield. The chance to tour an experimental rose garden is coming up in July alongside a competition to see who has the best front yard in Greenfield.
