GREENDALE, WI β€” Greendale Police Department responded to a possible overdose in a bank drive-thru, were called to an egging on Dale Lane, stopped a stolen vehicle in a high risk traffic stop and more, according to the most recent activity log.

Bank Drive-Thru Overdose

Police responded to a bank drive-thru in Greendale following calls that someone was passed out in their vehicle. First responders found the car's driver unconscious with a low breathing rate and blue lips. The passenger was passed out as well, but had since woken up and told police that the driver used heroin, according to the police log.

Police gave the driver Narcan then cited him with his second offense for operating under the influence of a controlled substance.

High Risk Stop

Greendale Police stopped a stolen vehicle that was travelling 42 mph in a 25 mph zone. Police stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver and passenger on other warrants.

Greendale Police Department did not immediately respond to Patch's request for elaboration on the "high risk" nature of the stop.

Other Notables

  • A Greendale resident received disturbing messages from an unknown number, according to the log. Greendale Police Department showed the resident how to block the number. An extra watch on the person's home was issued.
  • Vehicles and houses on Dale Lane were egged. Video evidence of the suspects was captured.
  • One caller claimed a juvenile approached him and asked if he wanted candy. The caller said the juvenile pulled a gun on him when he declined any candy. Police determined that the weapon claim was unsubstantiated.
