GREENDALE, WI — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years.

July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in Greendale:

July 4 Festivities

What: A fair with live music, food, amusement rides and more.
Where: Downtown Greendale at Gazebo Park.
When: June 30-July 4

July 4 Fireworks

What: A fireworks show.
Where: Greendale High School Brinkman Field.
When: Dusk on July 4.

Reading the Declaration of Independence

What: Village officials will read aloud our nation's historical text.
Where: Greendale Village Hall.
When: 8:45 a.m. on July 4.

Children's Parade

What: Greendale's annual children's parade.
Where: Lineup is at the Church Parking lot.
When: Lineup is at 8:50 a.m. in the Church Parking lot with a 9:15 a.m. start on July 4.

Greendale Parade

What: The Greendale 4th of July Parade.
When: The 2022 parade has a 9:30 a.m. start time on July 4.

The Greendale Lions Family 4th Fest returns the weekend of July 4 with amusement rides, live music, food and more.
