Man Found With Catalytic Converters Arrested: Police Logs
A man was arrested on Dec. 21 after police say they found him with multiple catalytic converters in Greendale.
GREENDALE, WI β A man was arrested on Dec. 21 after police found him in a disabled and reported stolen vehicle on Loomis Road and College Avenue with multiple catalytic converters inside, according to Greendale Police logs.
Logs say the man was arrested in connection with operating a vehicle without the owners consent and receiving stolen property. The man was also issued a local citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Catalytic Converters Stolen
A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a car parked at Highland View Elementary. The car's owner told police her car's converter was stolen on Dec. 17 at some point during the school day, according to police logs.

A resident of 4300 West Ramsey Place also reported to police they had a catalytic converter stolen on Dec. 19 or 20.
An employee of Peters Foods may have had a close call with someone who was attempting to steal their catalytic converter. A 911 call on Dec. 19 informed police a man was near a vehicle before he took off. Police logs said there was a cut on the car's exhaust pipe near the catalytic converter but the attempted theft was not completed.
Car Rummaged Through, Wallet Stolen
A resident on 6500 Hill Ridge Drive reported to police on Dec. 22 that his brother's car was broken into and his wallet was stolen, logs said.
