Here are some of the latest notable calls from the Greendale Police Department from Sept. 29-Oct. 14.

GREENDALE, WI β A Martin Luther High School student was cited for marijuana on Oct. 8, a woman was arrested Thursday in connection with $200 of merchandise shoplifted from Walmart and a car was stolen from Harbour House during the workday Thursday, according to Greendale Police call logs.

First, an update on the romance scam from last week. Greendale Police posted on Facebook that the woman became connected online to someone who claimed they were a "struggling oil driller." On two separate occasions, she sent the scammer cash. It came out to $24,000 lost, according to police.

Police Called To Martin Luther High School For Controlled Substances
Greendale Police was called to Martin Luther High School on Oct. 8 for a report of three juveniles with controlled substances. One of the juveniles was cited for possession of marijuana, according to call logs. Parents were contacted and all three juveniles were sent home.

Woman Held By Walmart Security, Accused Of $200 Shoplift
Greendale Police responded to Walmart on Thursday for a report of a woman shoplifting $200 in merchandise, call logs said. The woman was cited by police and released.
Car Stolen From Harbour House Parking Lot
A caller told Greendale Police Thursday her car was stolen from the parking lot at Harbour House when she was working during the day. Her 2019 Kia was taken while parked in the lot without keys, the call log said.
