New Director Of Pupil Services At Greendale Schools

GREENDALE, WI — Greendale School District announced its new Director of Pupil Services will be Rachel Ledezma. The Greendale Board of Education appointed Ledezma on Aug. 12.

Ledezma will work alongside the Director of Equity and Inclusion to guide educational practices for students, according to a news release from the district. She will oversee special education, gifted and talented programs and any other specialized programs, the news release said.

Ledezma has 11 years of experience. She previously worked in the Sheboygan Area School District, has worked as a middle school science teacher and a special education teacher. She has a bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, a Masters of Education from Mount Mary University and a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University, according to the news release.

“I am excited to work alongside the Greendale team in achieving the district’s vision and mission,” Ledezma said in the news release. “Two of my guiding core values are collaboration and creative problem solving. Teamwork is required for these values to be lived out and I am looking forward to getting to know the staff and families of the district as we work together to build relationships and create successful outcomes for our students.”
