Longtime Greendale resident served in the ladie's auxiliary for the Greendale American Legion; volunteered for Greendale libraries.

Beane, Myrtle was taken to heaven Nov. 15, at age 96.Β Β Long time resident of Greendale since 1943.Β Died at Alexia Village where she had lived for the last 17 years.Β Β Preceded in death by husband, O.D. Beane in 1987.Β Β Devoted mother of Al (Mary), Ohio, Carole (Terry), Milwaukee, and Phyllis (Phil), California.Β Β Proud grandmother of Eric, Sarah, Peter, and Kristopher.Β Β Great-grandmother of Annie and Kira.Β Β Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, and extended family.Β Β Myrtle was a registered nurse for Greendale Villageβs Dr. Brown for many years, served on the Ladiesβ Auxiliary for the Greendale American Legion Post #416, and volunteered for Greendale libraries.Β Β She was a gentle, loving lady who enriched the lives of all she encountered.Β Β She was devoted to her family and faith, and her legacy will not be forgotten with her passing.Β Β Private inurnment Wood National Cemetery.Β Β Β Β Β
