Pickleball Courts At Community Center Park: Village Board To Discuss
The Greendale Village Board will discuss the idea of bringing pickleball courts and a dog area to Community Center Park on Tuesday.
GREENDALE, WI β On Tuesday, the Village of Greendale Board of Trustees is scheduled to discuss the possibility of adding pickleball courts and a dog park to Community Center Park on 76th Street.
The discussion item comes after the removal of several tennis courts at the park because of their age. Village President Jason Cyborowski told Patch the idea would be to put the pickleball courts and a dog area, plus possibly basketball hoops, in an area just north of the park's tennis courts.
"I think with losing the courts that we're losing on college, we do have a couple of pickleball ball courts, like taped out at that park. But that park, there's so many people just waiting to even play tennis there."

Community Center Park is located at 6200 76th Street. The Village Board is slated to discuss the pickleball idea during their meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Village Hall, 6500 Northway.
"We'd have to see how the board feels about it. And then try to look at how we would pay for this," Cyborowski said, noting there isn't any immediate funding in the village budget for such a project.
