Armed Carjackings At Southridge Mall Being Investigated

Greendale Police Department is investigating two carjackings that happened at Southridge Mall on Tuesday and Wednesday.

GREENDALE, WI β€” The Greendale Police Department is investigating armed carjackings that occurred at Southridge Mall on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a news release from the agency.

A Mercedes C300 was carjacked on Tuesday shortly before 2 p.m. from a Southridge Mall parking lot by two male suspects who displayed a weapon, police said. The suspects, two younger males, drove away with the victim's vehicle.

On Wednesday, the stolen Mercedes C300 returned to Southridge Mall around 6:30 p.m. with four male occupants. The suspects attempted to carjack someone in a similar area as the carjacking the day before, but police said they were unsuccessful.

The suspects then went to the Marcus Bistroplex, where police say they displayed multiple weapons and took the victim's 2011 BMW 328. The Milwaukee Police Department located the Mercedes Wednesday night and arrested one juvenile male. Police said the BMW and three other suspects have not been located.
