Pursuit Ended With 'High Risk Stop' Near Layton And 27th: Police

A traffic stop in Greendale that led to a pursuit ended with stop sticks in Greenfield, according to Greendale Police logs.

GREENDALE, WI β€” A person was pulled over for a traffic stop near Loomis Road and Radburn Lane in Greendale around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday night, but after a second officer arrived on the scene, the vehicle fled, according to Greendale Police logs.

Logs say the vehicle was pursued until the Greenfield Police Department deployed stop sticks on it near West Layton Avenue and 27th Street. After the "high risk stop," logs say the driver was taken into custody for eluding officers and fourth offense operating while intoxicated.

Credit Card Fraud Investigation

A woman reported possible credit card fraud from an incident in December, logs said. The victim's card was used at the Best Buy in Greenfield on Dec. 23, but the bank denied the payments, logs say. Two suspects have been identified and an investigation continues, logs said.

Stolen Scratch-offs

A manager of the Speedway on 5400 76th Street reported employee theft of $327 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets on Monday, logs said.

Underage Tobacco, Open Intoxicants

A man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, underage tobacco, speed in excess of posted limits and open intoxicants on Jan. 22 near 92nd Street and College Avenue, logs said.

Car Stolen On Euston

A resident reported on Tuesday their 2013 silver Kia Optima was stolen on 7200 Euston Street.
