GREENDALE, WI β€” The bids for over a dozen roadway and water projects in the Village of Greendale were approved at a Board of Trustees meeting on Feb. 15, according to the latest village newsletter.

The Village Board had previously added about $5 million in funding to the budget for the projects, allowing the Village to catch up on deferred maintenance on roads, street lights, water mains and pathways, the newsletter says. The projects that were bid out on Feb. 15 will be completed in 2022, the Village said on its website.

Monday's Board of Trustees meeting will bring consideration for how much of the total project costs will come from the general fund versus utilities, the newsletter said.
