Where To Find A We Energies Cookie Book Near Greendale
We Energies Cookie Books are set to return soon for 2021. Here's where you can find one near Greendale.
GREENDALE, WI β The We Energies Cookie Book is set to make a return this fall across Milwaukee County. A drive-through distribution will be set up this year near Greendale and the books will also be available online.
This year, We Energies is celebrating military service by sharing recipes from members of the U.S. armed forces, according to Amy Jahns, We Energies spokesperson.
This is the 93rd anniversary of the first We Energies Cookie Book. The time-honored tradition began as a way to promote electric appliances in 1928. In 2020, they distributed Cookie Books to nearly 200,000 customers, Jahns told Patch.

"Veterans and active service members submitted cookie recipes that reminded them of home. They also provided stories of how the sweet treats connected them to their families and friends," Jahns said.
This year's book also includes special sections from Wisconsin's own 128th Air Refueling Wing and other organizations that support the troops.

There won't be a drive-through in Greendale, but there will be one in nearby Franklin:
A cookie book drive-thru will take place in Franklin 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. on Nov. 2 at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex, 6000 West Ryan Road.
This year's cookie books can also be bought online.
