Wilde Subaru Frank Mots Int’l Kite Festival….BACK IN THE AIR!

On Saturday, September 11th, and Sunday September 12th, The Kite Society of Wisconsin & Illinois, along with Gift of Wings, are presenting the WILDE SUBARU FRANK MOTS INT’L Kite Festival, celebrating 42 Years, in Veterans Park on Milwaukee's lakefront. The event will begin at 10:00 am and run through 5:00 pm both days. The GRAND LAUNCH of 600+ kites will happen at NOON! Now TWO great days of high flying fun!!

I am excited to announce that The Chicago Fire Kite Team from Chicago, and for the Very First Time, THE WINDJAMMERES INT’L KITE TEAM , flying 60 kites all at the same time, Fire & Ice, precision kite flying teams, will be performing three times each day during this event. Yves Laforest and the Canadian Dream team from Montreal, Quebec will be making their 20th appearance at Mots, flying the 2 NEW MEGA WHALE KITES and the giant Octopus kite. We will be giving away free kites to the first 100 kids that participate in the UW Credit Union "KIDS MAD DASH". Imagine 100 kids launching their kites all at the same time. LOOK OUT!! Brett Williams, the Kite Whispererer, will be giving FREE KITE FLYING LESSONS. Kites and food are available for purchase during the event at the Gift of Wings Kite Store.

This fun filled family event is FREE to all, with plenty of FREE parking.
