Winter Wonderland Walk at Wehr Nature Center, Dec. 31

With winter vacations coming to an end, families with school-aged children will welcome an afternoon outside!

Saturday, Dec. 31, from 12:30–2 p.m., participants age 6 and up are invited to a Winter Wonderland Walkb led by a Wehr Nature Center naturalist. The Nature Center is located at 9701 W. College Ave., in Whitnall Park.

Walking along the Nature Center’s trails, participants will discover the ways plants and wildlife adapt to thrive in Wisconsin’s harsh winters.

After the walk, participants will gather inside near the roaring fireplace to enjoy a mug of hot chocolate. Admission is $10 per non-resident of Milwaukee County, $7 per Milwaukee County resident, and $5 per member of Friends of Wehr. Parking is $3 per car. Registration is required by Dec. 27.
