Woman Cited For Public Urination On Village DPW Lawn

GREENDALE, WI — A woman was arrested last week for public urination after parking a car on the lawn of Greendale's Department of Public Works building, according to police logs.

Early in the afternoon of Sept. 2 the DPW supervisor called police saying there was a car parked on the Village's DPW building lawn. The caller believed the driver was intoxicated, although a field sobriety test came back negative, the log said.

Police logs say the woman was arrested for public urination. The incident happened at the DPW building on the 6900 block of Industrial Loop in Greendale.

Other recent police activity in Greendale:

• A man fled from officers after a traffic stop on College Avenue and 60th Street, except he made a critical mistake: he left his ID with the officer who pulled him over, police logs said. Police mailed the man his tickets for speeding and proof of insurance, plus a citation for felony elusion of police, logs show.
