Bet You've Never Seen Frozen Bees' Breath Before
It's so cold you can see the ice that forms from the breathing of bees.

See frozen bees' breath for yourself in a video titled A cold day in the bee yard in Hudson, WI posted on YouTube Monday by Quiney Honey and Bee.Â
You won't believe how beautiful frozen bees' breath is. Check it out at about the 1:59 mark in a segment that starts at about the 1:45 mark—but the whole three-minute video is interesting.Â
The bees have some protection from the arctic cold Hudson has been experiencing. The beehives have styrofoam insulation, with wine corks to plug holes.Â
