Panera Bread and Five Guys Restaurant Proposed for New Commercial Building

HUDSON -- On Monday, the Hudson City Council will take a look at the final development plans for a massive new commercial development with two proposed restaurant tenants.

Hudson Center Holdings is proposing an 8,487 sq. ft. multi-tenant commercial building on the north side of Badger drive. The site, lcoated at 2161-2181 Badger Drive was the former site of the visitor center.

Tenants proposed at this time include the Panera Bakery and Restaurant and Five Guys Restaurant.

Officials have recommended the inclusion of a retaining wall between the drive thru and the patio area for the Panera Bread tenant space in the latest round of development plans.

In an agenda item submitted to the Hudson Common Council for the Oct. 3 meeting, officials recommended approval of commercial building and site improvements under the condition that revised patio plans are submitted for city staff approval with the plan submittal for the Paneara Bread unit buildout.
