Wisconsin's Seventh District Congressional Race Heating Up Hudson, Twin Cities Market
Campaign spending on a tight race here in Western Wisconsin is going to be seen soon on the airwaves of the Twin Cities.
Hudson and St. Croix County are going to take center stage as the fight for the Seventh District Congressional Seat enters its final days this week.Â
KARE 11 news in the Twin Cities is reporting Republican Rep. Sean Duffy and Democratic challenger Pat Kreitlow are in a very tight race, and are looking to tip the newest addition to the Seventh District in their favor in order to gain an edge on election night.Â
The push for advertising buys in the Twin Cities means the candidates have spent money in four different markets across Wisconsin.Â

Duffy, a district attorney and veteran of reality television back in his day, is a fiscal conservative whose values are shared by national VP nominee and fellow Wisconsinite Rep. Paul Ryan. Kreitlow, meanwhile, is a Wisconsin Democrat who supports many of the policies put in place by President Barack Obama.Â
