$1M Winning Lottery Ticket Sold At Cudahy Gas Station

The odds of winning the $1 million ticket were less than 1 in 11,000,000 according to the Wisconsin Lottery.

CUDAHY, WI — A lottery ticket sold on Oct. 17 in Cudahy was the winner of a $1 million prize, the Wisconsin Lottery announced Monday.

The Citgo at 2400 College Avenue sold the ticket, the fourth $1 million Powerball ticket to sell in Wisconsin so far this year, according to a news release from Wisconsin Lottery. At the beginning of October another $1 million ticket was sold at a Kwik Trip in Mauston.

The gas station that sold the ticket will receive $20,000. Powerball tickets cost $2 to play. The winning ticket in Cudahy comes as the overall jackpot reaches around $700 million.

The odds of winning $1 million in Powerball are less than 1 in 11 million and the odds of winning the jackpot are less than 1 in 292 million, the news release said.
