2 New Patients Tested For Coronavirus In Wisconsin

Just days after the only known case of Coronavirus had been cleared comes a new report that two new people are being tested.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Just days after news broke that the only person confirmed of having the new coronavirus, COVID-19, in Wisconsin has returned to health comes news that two new people are being tested for the deadly virus.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, public health officials are testing two new patients for COVID-19. Health officials have not revealed where they're from, or any other identifying information.

In total, officials have tested a total of 21 patients. Of those, 18 have come back negative, one was positive and now there are two more who are being tested.

Only Person Who Had It Has Been Released

According to an NBC 15 report, a patient in Dane County who had Wisconsin's only confirmed case of COVID-19, was released from isolation, after health officials determined she was not longer capable of spreading the virus.

Health officials said the patient had been isolated starting on Jan. 30. News became public that she had the COVID-19 on Feb. 5. By Feb. 28, that patient had been released from their isolation.
