MILWAUKEE, WI — Four people were found dead in the south side of Milwaukee on Wednesday, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said.

Milwaukee police were carrying out a wellness check at the 3100 block of S. 49th Street at around 11:47 a.m. when they found the bodies of four people. They had suffered from fatal gunshot injuries, Milwaukee Police Sergeant Efrain Cornejo told Patch.

It appears that one person shot and killed three others before turning the gun on themselves, and Cornejo said that the people killed were three adults and one minor.
