Authorities Asking For Help Finding Road Rage Shooter

Police say a man got into a heated argument with a fellow motorist on Highway 145 when he heard gunshots. He found bullet holes in his car.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities in Milwaukee are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a road rage shooter who is accused of firing two gunshots during a heated argument with another motorist Monday afternoon.

According to reports, the victim told deputies that he was driving north on Highway 145 in the center lane at just before 3 p.m. Monday, when a two-toned blue and purple Chevrolet Impala or Malibu cut him off, and forced him off the road.

The victim told authorities that he sped up and got into the middle lane, where he and the suspect began to argue out of the window of their vehicles. The victim also told deputies he moved over to let the other vehicle pass him, at which time he heard two gunshots.

When investigators took a look at his vehicle, they found two gunshots.

Sheriff's officials in Milwaukee are asking for the public's help to find the suspect in this case. The suspect is described by authorities as a man weighing about 160 pounds, with a short haircut and beard described as “scruffy” or “patchy.” He was traveling with a woman with braided hair.

He was last seen driving a blue and purple, 2005-2006 Chevrolet Impala or Malibu with no license plate, missing a driver’s side hub cap, and with a broken or missing Chevrolet emblem on the vehicle’s trunk.
