MILWAUKEE, WI — Several beaches in Milwaukee County's North Shore communities reopened on Tuesday after being closed since Friday because of elevated bacteria.

The beaches at Atwater Park in Shorewood, Klode Park in Whitefish Bay and Doctor's Park in Fox Point all closed after testing done Thursday, but have each reopened with further testing done Monday, according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources beach closure tracker.

The latest testing showed E. Coli levels were not exceeded at the three beaches, the North Shore Health Department announced online.
