Burst Of Snow To Disrupt Friday Evening Commute: WI Weather
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from Friday evening through 6 a.m. Saturday for much of southeast Wisconsin.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from Friday evening through 6 a.m. Saturday, bringing a burst of heavy snowfall followed by lingering light to moderate snow into the morning hours.
The advisory is in effect across Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Dodge, Washington, Ozaukee, Jefferson, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Walworth, Racine, and Kenosha counties.
Snowfall accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected across the region, with locally higher totals possible in central Wisconsin and areas near Lake Michigan. Up to 6 inches could fall near Sheboygan.

A quick-moving band of heavy snowfall, with rates of 0.75 to 1 inch per hour, will track from west to east, lasting 2 to 4 hours before tapering off. Road conditions may deteriorate rapidly, making travel hazardous.
"A 2 to 3 hour burst of moderate to heavy snow will fall in the evening with up to one inch per hour snowfall rates expected. Lighter snow will then continue afterward," the National Weather Service said. "Slow down and use caution while traveling."

Saturday: Snow, mainly after 9am. High near 32. Light and variable wind becoming northeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
Saturday Night: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 21. North wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Sunday: Snow likely, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 26. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around -2. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
