Christian Yelich Tests Positive For COVID-19: Milwaukee Brewers
The Milwaukee Brewers outfielder tests positive for COVID-19 according to the team president.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich has been placed on the team's injury list after testing positive for COVID-19.
The team announced Tuesday that Yelich was placed on the injured list after testing positive. Player Jace Peterson was placed on the injury list as well for COVID-19 contact, the team added.
Yelich was fully vaccinated and developed mild symptoms Monday, Brewers baseball operations president, David Stearns, told MLB.com. The outfielder must miss a minimum of ten days before playing again, MLB reported.

The Brewers' charter flight was delayed to Tuesday morning for testing and contact tracing players and staff, MLB reported.

All other players and staff have tested negative, including Peterson, Stearns told MLB.
