The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee said 70 percent of its student body was fully vaccinated for COVID-19 on Thursday.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Seventy percent of University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee students are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, the university announced Thursday.
Now vaccinated students are eligible for $7,000 scholarships through the UW System's "70 for 70" program, which offered students incentives for getting vaccinated against the virus.
Students must be fully vaccinated by Oct. 15 and notify their campus to be eligible for the scholarship, the UW System said. All students in the UW System, except for UW-Madison or fully online, can participate.
