MILWAUKEE, WI — Police in Milwaukee said a 4-year-old girl found her father's gun and accidentally shot him and herself. Police said both the girl and the father were treated at a local hospital, and neither suffered life-threatening injuries. Police said the 33-year-old father initially lied about Sunday morning's events and was arrested. The Milwaukee County District Attorney's office was working Monday to determine whether charges will be filed against the father. Authorities have yet to say where the daughter found the gun in her family's home, and have yet to specify what type of gun it was.
