Milwaukee Area Athletes earn spots on the USA Women’s National Fistbal

The USA Women's National Fistball Team announced their roster for the upcoming World Games in Birmingham, AL July 7th-17th

Milwaukee, WI - Athletes from across the globe are converging on Birmingham to participate in a wide variety of sports in this premier event. Starting in November of 2021, the United States Fistball Association (USFA) has held intense clinics, training and tryouts to bring the best athletes together for The World Games.

Head Coach Denis Nicoladeli - “I want to congratulate the athletes selected, and their dedication to our sport and desire to represent the USA at The World Games. As the first Women’s team to participate, they are making Fistball history and I look forward to the coming weeks as we prepare to take on the highly competitive teams from Germany, Brazil, New Zealand, Austria and Switzerland.”

USFA President Ron Jessewein - “These athletes from across the country represent the abundance of talent and growth of Fistball. Their passion and tenacity exemplify what being on Team USA means to so many. FIstball is a game of passion and we are thrilled to have our level play continue to grow by our Women’s team!”

Sadie Beacham, Hubertus , WI, #12, Striker, Alternate - “I am so proud and excited to be a part of the US Women's Fistball team, and to see a sport I have loved and played for years, get recognized at the World Games 2022”

Elle Kasbohm, Oconomowoc, WI, #22 , Defender, Alternate - “I would like to thank the people who fought so hard to include the USA Women's Fistball team in the 2022 World Games and for those who continue to recognize the importance of inclusion of women in sports. I'm proud to represent this program as we work towards building a better future for the women athletes across America!”

Lindsey Stern, West Bend, WI, #2, Defender, WG Roster - “Fistball is not just a sport, it’s family. It's provided me exposure to beautiful people, places, and cultures. I'm excited for the opportunities ahead and growth of the sport in our country. But what I am excited for most, is for my children to experience it.”

The mission of the United States Fistball Association (USFA) is to create awareness around and grow the sport of Fistball through individual and club membership recruitment, promotional efforts, and sponsorship of national and international Fistball competitions.
