Milwaukee Bucks Parade Livestream: Watch The Parade Here

MILWAUKEE, WI — The Milwaukee Bucks will hold a parade Thursday morning across downtown Milwaukee to celebrate their NBA Finals championship victory.

The parade starts at 11 a.m. at the intersection of E. Wisconsin Avenue and N. Prospect Avenue. It will march west on Wisconsin Avenue, turn on Water Street and head north towards Knapp Street. After it reaches Knapp Street, the parade will turn and come to an end on the bridge over the river. From there will be a 12:30 p.m. celebration featuring players, coaches and Wisconsin leadership.

Street Closures:

The city will close streets around the parade route at 8 p.m., the Milwaukee Department of Public Works told Patch.

Here are the streets that will be closed downtown:

• West McKinley Avenue from North Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Drive to North 6th Street
• West Juneau Avenue from North Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Drive to North 6th Street
• North Vel R. Phillips Avenue from West McKinley Avenue to West Kilbourn Avenue
• North 5th Street from West McKinley Avenue to West Juneau Avenue

Service from the Hop and MCTS buses will be interrupted as well.

Parking:

"No parking — tow away zone" signs will be put up around the parade route and the city will enforce no parking zones with tickets and towing, the city said.

Metered parking locations around the city and contactless payment is available through the MKE Park app, the city said. Parade watchers can find parking lots and structures through parkmilwaukee.com.

Where to watch from home:

The Bucks are launching a new app to watch the celebration via livestream through. Viewers can download the app and watch there at 11 a.m.

Local TV news stations like WISN-12, FOX6 and TMJ4 will cover the event as well.

Watching in person:

Parade watchers are encouraged to show up early and watch anywhere along the parade route, the city said.

Parade watchers can't camp, place furniture, or reserve spaces along the parade route during the overnight hours prior to the event, the city said. Alcoholic beverages won't be allowed on the sidewalk either, it added.

The Milwaukee Health Department recommends those who are unvaccinated to wear a mask, the city said.

The Milwaukee Bucks scored 105-98 over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, winning the NBA Finals for the first time in half a century.
