Milwaukee Labor Day Weather: Warm And Sunny, Small Chance Of Storms

Storms Friday and Saturday could mark an otherwise warm and sunny Labor Day weekend in the Milwaukee area, national forecasters predict.

WISCONSIN — As Wisconsinites gear up to celebrate Labor Day and one of the final weekends of summer, plenty of people will be hitting the road for a camping trip or firing up the grill with friends and family.

We'll see if the weather cooperates for Labor Day 2022, but so far the National Weather Service forecast a mostly warm and sunny weekend with some chances for storms on Friday and Saturday.

Coming out of a warm Thursday, the greater Milwaukee area can expect more warm temperatures from the 70s into the 80s for much of the weekend, according to the NWS.

Here's what the NWS forecast for the Milwaukee area this Labor Day weekend:

Friday: A mostly cloudy then gradually sunny day with a high in the 80s. Slight chance of showers in the evening and early Saturday morning.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high in the 70s but a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms and showers mainly after 1 p.m.

Sunday: Partly sunny with a high in the low 70s. Mostly clear in the evening.

Monday (Labor Day): Mostly sunny during the day with a high in the 70s.
