MILWAUKEE — A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to commercially sex trafficking two 15-year-old victims and transporting child pornography.

After his prison sentence is complete, Jaron Jay Jackson will do ten years of supervised release and 25 years of sex offender registration.

During the sentencing hearing, Judge William Griesbach noted the severity of Jackson’s criminal conduct in targeting and exploiting minors and his aggravated criminal history.

Jackson was released from the Wisconsin prison system on extended supervision but subsequently "absconded" to Illinois, where he began sex trafficking girls, authorities said.

Jackson enticed two 15-year-old runaways from Oshkosh and Green Bay to join him in Chicago-area hotels, authorities said.

After the girls arrived, Jackson posted sexually provocative advertisements of them on sex-trafficking websites, according to investigators.

Jackson then directed the girls and a woman victim to engage in commercial sexual acts with clients in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Minnesota, prosecutors said.

Jackson also "repeatedly" engaged in sexual activity with one of the girls, according to authorities. He tried to do the same with the other girl, but she contacted family members to return home to Wisconsin, investigators said.

Additionally, Jackson recorded videos of a girl engaging in sexual activity with him, which officers recovered from his cell phone when they arrested him after he arrived in Wisconsin via Amtrak from Illinois, according to authorities.

The investigation was conducted by the Oshkosh Police Department and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation, with assistance from the Milwaukee Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Timothy Funnell.
