Milwaukee RNC: Celebrities, Politicians Set To Arrive In WI

The city of Milwaukee is hosting the 2024 Republican National Convention, which is set to begin Monday.

MILWAUKEE — The city of Milwaukee is hosting the 2024 Republican National Convention, which is set to begin Monday.

The RNC will offer Milwaukee a second opportunity to shine nationally, following the mostly online 2020 Democratic National Convention held there.

The RNC is expected to bring tens of thousands of visitors to the Brew City, including celebrities, politicians, and other national figures of note.

Savannah Chrisley of the "Chrisley Knows Best" reality show will speak Tuesday under the theme "Make America Safe Again," ABC News reported.

UFC President Dana White will introduce Trump to accept the party's nomination, according to Fox News.

In addition to Donald Trump, this year's presumptive Republican presidential nominee, the following people are expected to speak at the RNC next week:

  • Savannah Chrisley, "Chrisley Knows Best" (TV personality)
  • Amber Rose, Rapper and model
  • UFC President Dana White
  • Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis
  • Indiana Congressman Jim Banks
  • Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird
  • Donald Trump, Jr.
  • Lara Trump, co-chair of the Republican National Committee
  • Melania Trump
  • David Sacks, entrepreneur and investor

    • Reporters, columnists, and podcast hosts from across the nation are expected in Wisconsin to cover the event. A live gameday-style episode of the "Ruthless" podcast is set to be taped in Milwaukee next week.
