Milwaukee Sheriff Stepping Down For Job With Fiserv: Report
Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas announced his resignation on Friday and plans for a job at Fiserv, according to reports.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas announced his resignation on Friday with plans to start work as Fiserv's vice president of security on Monday, according to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Denita Ball, the current chief deputy for the sheriff's office, won a primary election for Lucas' seat this spring. She's set to win the seat as she is running unopposed in November. Ball would be Milwaukee County's first woman sheriff, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel pointed out.
Lucas ran for mayor this past year but lost in the primary against Cavalier Johnson. Fiserv, which is based in Brookfield, deals in the finance sector.
