According to a WISN 12 report, the boy's grandmother said the suspect claimed the boy fell down, but when she looked at him, she said he appeared to have been beaten. It was the boy's grandmother who discovered his unresponsive body first. WISN also learned that a former boyfriend of the 13-month-old's mother had been watching the child while she was working.
