Missing Milwaukee Man Found Safe After Silver Alert Issued Thursday

Police said a man who may have dementia went missing from Milwaukee early Thursday morning. A Silver Alert was issued Thursday afternoon.

Authorites said in an update that Pastorius has been located safe.


MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities issued a Silver Alert Thursday afternoon for a 75-year-old man who went missing from Milwaukee.

Dennis Raymond Pastorius was last seen around 1 a.m. Thursday in the 4100 block of North 22nd Street, according to the Milwaukee Police Department. Pastorius was described as a white 5-foot 2-inch man weighing 180 pounds with blue eyes, white long hair and partial baldness, police said.

Authorites asked people to be on the lookout for Pastorius, who is missing and believed to have dementia.

Pastorius was wearing blue jeans, an unknown shirt and unknown shoes when he was last seen, police said.
