MILWAUKEE, WI — After a Youtuber discovered a man's partially-skeletonized body in an abandoned Milwaukee building in August, authorities have managed to find the man's family and identify him.

The body was that of a 32-year-old man from Milwaukee, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office announced in a tweet Monday. His family has been notified, the medical examiner said without additional details.

Just weeks after the remains were found and reported on Aug. 10, the medical examiner's office had taken to social media with photos of rings found alongside the body in hopes of identifying the man. Prior to his family being found, the body was one of several unidentified persons cases in Milwaukee.
