Police Searching For Jeep Driver Who Struck, Killed Pedestrian
According to Milwaukee police, at about 7:30 p.m., a pedestrian was struck and killed by a the driver of a Jeep Cherokee Sunday.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Police in Milwaukee are searching for the driver of a Jeep Cherokee after police say the driver struck and killed a pedestrian Sunday night on the city's south side.
According to Milwaukee police, at about 7:30 p.m., a pedestrian was struck and killed by the driver of a Jeep Cherokee in the 2600 block of S. Chase Ave.
Police said witnesses described the vehicle as a dark color SUV. Parts recovered from the scene are from a 2017 or newer Jeep Cherokee, likely a 2019 or 2020, however the parts may be compatible with older model Jeep Cherokees, police said.

According to police, the vehicle they're looking for will have front-end damage and is missing the third or fourth grille inserts. The word "Jeep" on the leading edge of the hood is also damaged, investigators said.
Police said the vehicle was last seen driving away from the crash scene north toward W. Lincoln Ave.
