Power Outage Closes Potawatomi Casino Wednesday
Casino officials say they're working on the problem, which should be fixed later today. The hotel is open.
MILWAUKEE, WI — The Potawatomi Casino is closed temporarily to all guests after an early-morning power outage Wednesday.
According to multiple reports, there was a scheduled electrical systems project planned for about 5 a.m. That project required that the power be shut off to the casino, however when the casino's backup power systems didn't kick it, it resulted in a power outage.
Casino officials say they're working on the problem, which should be fixed later today. The hotel is open, officials said.
