President Biden Expected To Visit Milwaukee On Labor Day: Reports

MILWAUKEE, WI — President Joe Biden is expected to visit Milwaukee to celebrate Labor Day, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel first reported.

The visit will coincide with Labor Day on Sept. 5, according to the Journal Sentinel report. The White House announced Biden will visit Milwaukee Laborfest to recognize "the dignity of American workers," according to the report.

Media outlets in Pittsburgh have also reported that Biden is expected to visit Pennsylvania the same day.

The move comes just two months before the election deciding Wisconsin's next governor. Incumbent Tony Evers, a Democrat, is seeking a second term while Tim Michels, a Republican, is seeking to oust Evers.
